Badger Carferry dock. The carferry crosses Lake Michigan twice daily – from Manitowoc WI, to Ludington, Michigan. Dive into history and experience a guided tour of USS COBIA, the nation’s most completely restored submarine. Enjoy the wonderful aroma at Natural Ovens Bakery. Sample preservative free-fresh warm bread; watch the mixing and baking of 55,000 packages daily. Free tours offered daily. At Pinecrest Historical Village, costumed guides interpret farm and village life as you explore 28 historic buildings with period furnishings. Looking for cheese? Stop at Pine River Dairy where you’ll be tempted by over 250 varieties and 25 cent hand dipped ice cream cones.
