There's More To Our Shores
Located on the far western tip of the Great Lake Superior, lies the City of Superior and Douglas County. On one of the most pristine lakes in the world, our communities border this magnificent body of water offering unique attractions, events and recreational opportunities.

In the immediate harbor area is Barker’s Island Marina. This full service, 420 slip facility is a complete family fun boating community where boaters enjoy tennis courts, Ship’s Store, repair service and sailboat rentals. Transient dockage is available. The marina is conveniently located near lodging, restaurants and gift shops. Within the midst of the harbor area is Barker’s Island, our waterfront playground. Visit the Seamen’s Memorial statue, miniature golf, a playground, and the Osaugie waterfront trail. A closeup view of the waterfront commerce and the Duluth-Superior world port is available on a harbor cruise aboard the Vista Fleet.
